eStatements
We are pleased to announce that The American National Bank now offers eStatements – an electronic version of your paper statement. Using your current email address, you can have a monthly statement automatically delivered to your email Inbox! We’re sure that you’ll enjoy the convenience of this service. Common questions and answers about eStatements
With eStatements, there’s no need to continue receiving paper statements. These are some of the advantages: •Eliminate paper storage hassles – save your statement electronically •The convenience of being able to save statements on your computer and print them whenever you like – or send your statement to your accountant •Your eStatement is password protected, in order to download or view your statement you must enter the correct password •You will receive your eStatement faster (usually the next business day after the end of your statement cycle) •The eStatement looks identical to the statement you would receive in the mail AND it still includes your check images •And best of all, it’s FREE!
To sign up for this service, you must complete the eStatement Application. You will need your name, account number(s) and email address. Once you’ve signed up for eStatements, you will receive an email each month with your statement as a secure (password protected) Adobe Acrobat Reader (PDF) attachment.

An eStatement is an electronic version of your statement and images delivered to your email address each month. You can view and print your statement right from your computer.
Will I receive my check images and reconciliation page with my eStatement? Yes.
Will my eStatement look the same as my regular printed statements? Yes. Your eStatement looks exactly like your paper statement.
Is there a charge for eStatements? No, eStatements are free!
Will I continue to receive my paper statement in the mail? No. You can either receive a paper statement or an electronic statement. You can not receive both.
When will I receive my eStatement? Historically, you have waited for your paper statement to be mailed and waited for mail delivery. Your eStatement will be emailed within two business days following the statement date found in the upper right portion of your paper statement.
Is my eStatement information secure? Yes. Your eStatement is password protected prior to delivery. You will be required to enter this password before accessing your statement.
Can you send eStatements to more than one email address? Unfortunately, no we are unable to offer eStatements emailed to multiple accounts.
Can I email my eStatement securely to my accountant or other professional? Yes. Your eStatement can be emailed and will retain the same level of security as the original eStatement. The recipient of the eStatement will need your password in order to open the statement.
Will my statement cycle change? No, your statement cycle will not change.
Will I be able to access my Online Statement with WebTV? No. eStatements are displayed in Portable Document Format (PDF). WebTV does not support PDF.
Do I need a special program to view my eStatement? You need Adobe Acrobat Reader version 6.0 or higher in order to view your eStatement. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader click on the icon . . .
Do I have to sign up for online banking to receive an eStatement? No, however, we do suggest that you try our online banking demo and experience the many features that we have to offer.
Will I be able to print my statement and check images? Yes, once you open the statement you will be able to print it just like you print any document on your computer.
Once you’ve opened your eStatement, you can save it using the small disk icon on the toolbar of your Adobe Acrobat Reader software. Provide a name for the file using a .pdf extension, select a name that will help you remember which statement the file contains (e.g. CheckingMay2005.pdf)
How do I sign up for eStatements? You can enroll by downloading and completing the enrollment form and returning it to the bank at: The American National Bank, Attn: Electronic Documents, 115 Front St, Beaver Dam, WI 53916. Or you can enroll in person at one of our offices. You will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader Installed on your computer to view this file. Download the application form here.
What if I change my email address? In order to continue receiving your eStatement you need to notify us in writing of your email address change. This can be done by contacting a customer service representative at one of our offices.
What if I enroll but decide I want to change back to paper statements? You can return to receiving paper statements in the mail at any time by providing us with written notice.
