Customer Service Representative (Teller)

 

Location: American National Bank Wal-Mart Branch, 120 Frances Lane, Beaver Dam, WI 

Status: Part-time hourly positions

Hours: Approximately 20 - 24 hours per week. Hours for this position are:   Mondays 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Thursdays 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Fridays 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and every other weekend (Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Sunday 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.)

 

Responsibilities: Customer Service Representatives are responsible for servicing customers’ needs by processing transactions efficiently, professionally and accurately. They are also responsible for recognizing additional customer banking needs and cross selling products and services which meet those needs or making referrals to appropriate employees.   

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year previous cash handling & customer service experience
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to identify customer needs & refer bank products and services
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Float Teller

 

Location:  The American National Bank, all locations on an as-needed basis 

Status: Full-time hourly position

Hours: Approximately 35 - 40 hours per week. Hours worked will vary, depending upon location and the weekly schedule. Typically, shifts are between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.; however, can include evenings until 7:00 p.m. at the bank’s Wal-mart in-store branch on an as-needed basis. Hours also include every other weekend (Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Sunday 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.)

 

Responsibilities: The float teller is responsible for providing deposit-related support services to multiple areas of the bank, including servicing customers’ needs by performing teller and personal banking duties efficiently, professionally and accurately. Recognizing additional customer banking needs and cross selling products and services which meet those needs or making referrals to appropriate individuals is required. The float teller also performs general clerical tasks in the backroom operations area under the direction of the VP of Operations.

 

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year previous cash handling & customer service experience
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to identify customer needs & refer bank products and services
  • Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of co-workers and customers
  • Must be flexible to accept changes in work locations and schedules
  • Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Prior financial institution experience is preferred, but not required
